Our work with U.S. agencies

As a leading voice and global citizen in the fight against cybercrime, we are proud to support law enforcement globally. Trend Micro shares strategic and tactical threat intelligence with U.S. Government Law Enforcement, including the FBI, U.S. Secret Service, and Homeland Security Investigations. We participate in threat and vulnerability research, joint reports with the U.S. Secret Service, and frequent collaborations with FBI’s InfraGard and the U.S. Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force.

Exposing cybercrime globally

To date, our investigative efforts have supported nearly 20 law enforcement cases around the world, including work with the FBI, Interpol, Europol, and the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA).

Recent efforts include a close cooperation with the FBI to identify, arrest, and bring to trial the individuals linked to the infamous Counter Antivirus (CAV) service Scan4You. Ruslans Bondars was found guilty as a result of the trial, while Jurijs Martisevs pleaded guilty.
