Before becoming CEO in late 2004, Eva served as executive vice president from 1988 to 1996 and as CTO from 1996 to 2004. During her tenure, she led the development of a series of industry firsts, from pioneering unique security products to transformative security management strategies that helped establish Trend as a global security leader.

As CFO and board of directors member, Mahendra Negi oversees global finance, legal, and HR operations. He’s been recognized as Japan’s No. 1 Internet Analyst and No. 2 Software Analyst by Institutional Investor magazine and Nikkei Shimbun, Japan's top business newspaper.
Before joining Trend in May 2000, Mahendra specialized in the Japanese internet and software markets at Merrill Lynch. He holds a master's degree in physics from Nagpur University in India and a master's degree in management from London Business School.

Akihiko Omikawa began his career as a sales manager at Japan Digital Equipment Corporation (now Hewlett-Packard). In 1992, he joined Microsoft Japan, where he held several leadership roles, including director of sales, director of enterprise business operations, general business managing director, and executive board member.
He joined Trend in February 2003. He has also served as Executive Vice President of Japan and the Cyber Security Institute, where he led growth in the consumer broadband and carrier/ISP markets and developed integrated solutions for corporate, government, and educational sectors.
Akihiko graduated from Nihon University’s College of Commerce in 1982 with a degree in business administration.

As COO, Kevin is responsible for all field operations, including global sales, marketing, business development, strategic alliances, and corporate development.
Since joining Trend, Kevin has held several key roles, including CMO and head of Global Alliances, Corporate Development, and Strategy. Prior to that, he held several executive positions at security pioneer Entrust (now Entrust-Datacard), including COO, general manager, CMO, and VP of engineering. He was also part of Entrust’s founding team.
Earlier in his career, Kevin worked in product development at Nortel, where he helped engineer next-generation networking technologies. He has served on the boards of Entrust, the Queen’s University High Performance Computing Virtual Laboratory, and Certes Networks, a cloud network security innovator.
Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Since joining Trend in 1993, Oscar has established the R&D team in Japan and led the development of several flagship products, including PC-cillin.
Before joining Trend, he worked at Diamond Ware Corporation. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and information engineering from National Taiwan University.

As chief information officer, Max Cheng oversees information services and security at Trend.
With more than 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, Max has held several executive roles at Trend, each instrumental in shaping the company into a global leader.
He successfully built and led one of the world’s top cybersecurity research and product support organizations. As vice president of global sales engineering and global technical support, he helped transform regional teams into high-performing, world-class technical units, driving Trend’s international growth.
Under Max’s leadership, Trend’s Core Technology team evolved into a globally recognized cybersecurity R&D group, earning several industry certifications and setting market-leading standards.
Max also serves as CEO of VicOne, Trend’s subsidiary focused on automotive cybersecurity. Under his guidance, VicOne has steadily positioned itself as a leading expert in securing connected vehicles and advancing innovation in the field.

As chief legal officer for Trend, Felix supports the board of directors and collaborates with the executive team on governance, compliance, and strategic matters. He also leads the legal team, overseeing services for Trend’s regional subsidiaries and global operations. In addition, he heads the company’s global policy and compliance initiatives.
Before joining Trend, Felix was a vice president and associate general counsel at VeriSign. He previously served on the legal team at Yahoo!, following his work as an associate in the litigation and technology transactions practices at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, a leading technology law firm. Earlier in his career, he served as senior law clerk to the chief justice of the Nevada Supreme Court.
Prior to law school, Felix studied cognitive science and human factors engineering in graduate school and worked in the Flight Human Factors Division at NASA’s Ames Research Center.
He holds a juris doctor from the University of California, Davis, where he served as editor-in-chief of the King Hall Advocate and won the Western U.S. ABA moot court championship. He earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has completed executive education programs at both Harvard Business School (Making Corporate Boards More Effective) and Stanford Business School (Finance and Accounting for the Nonfinancial Executive).

Rachel Jin is the chief enterprise platform officer at Trend, where she leads the company’s efforts in building cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions and advancing its strategic vision. With more than 20 years of experience, Rachel has held a wide range of roles, including developer, development manager, field sales, product manager, and product marketing manager. This diverse background has given her a deep understanding of the high-tech industry and a strong passion for innovation.
Throughout her career, Rachel has played a key role in shaping strategic direction by leveraging advanced technologies and helping keep Trend at the forefront of cybersecurity risk and threat management. Hernán Armbruster is responsible for Trend Micro’s business operations across the Americas, including the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada. He is part of the global team overseeing sales of the company’s strategic products.
He joined Trend more than 20 years ago as head of technical support services for Argentina, then Latin America. He later served as country manager for Brazil and Mexico, and as director of operations for Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Hernán holds an MBA from IBMEC University in Brazil, a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Universidad Centro de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Exactas in Argentina, and has completed the Executive Program from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in Canada.
In 2017, he was named one of the Top 50 Influential Hispanic Leaders in Latin America/Ibero America by the Hispanic IT Executive Council. In 2018, he received a SANS Difference Makers Award for his leadership in cybersecurity.
Hernán and his team work closely with law enforcement, providing intelligence and training that support investigations. He has also helped lead Trend’s training initiatives to address the global cybersecurity skills shortage by developing young talent in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Canada, and the United States. Additionally, he led the creation of the Organization of American States Cyberwomen Challenge series to help women build cybersecurity skills early in their careers.

Chang’s leadership and vision have earned recognition in several major publications. He was named one of Asia’s “25 Movers and Shakers” by ZDNet Asia in 2001. Fortune magazine called him a “global force,” and he was twice honored in BusinessWeek’s “Stars of Asia” awards. Jenny Chang works to cultivate and strengthen Trend’s core values and culture, forming the foundation for the company’s ongoing innovation and growth. She is widely recognized as a pioneer in the cybersecurity industry.
As a co-founder, Jenny focused on marketing and human resources before becoming chief culture officer. She helped establish Trend’s Virus Buster as the top antivirus desktop product in Japan, reaching more than 70% market share, and led efforts that contributed to Trend winning Taiwan’s Global Brand award for four consecutive years.
Jenny holds a degree in Chinese literature from National Taiwan University and a degree in information science from Lehigh University. In addition to her work at Trend, she is a writer, producer, and radio host devoted to promoting Chinese literature and the arts. She has published four books about Trend and produced a series of Peking operas and Chinese literary dramas. Passionate about psychological well-being, Jenny also founded a psychotherapy foundation that offers training, workshops, and counseling.

Koichiro Tokuoka has served as an independent outside director at Trend since March 2023.
He began his career in the Human Resources Department at Nissan Motor Co. and Nissan Europe, later becoming senior vice president and partner at FleishmanHillard Japan. There, he focused on HR systems, culture reform, internal communication, reputation management, and leadership development.
Since 2006, Koichiro has been a professor at the Tama Graduate School of Business, where he currently serves as dean. In 2017, he founded Life Shift Inc. He is also the author of multiple books, including Innovatorship and MBB: Management by Belief (co-authored with Professors Ikujiro Nonaka and Kazuo Ichijo).
