Installation

This Trojan Spy adds the following processes:

  • "%System%\cmd.exe" /C choice /C Y /N /D Y /T 3 & Del "{Malware Path}\{Malware Filename}" && /C choice /C Y /N /D Y /T 3 & Del "shfolder.dll" && Del LAG1 && Del LAG2

(Note: %System% is the Windows system folder, where it usually is C:\Windows\System32 on all Windows operating system versions.)

It executes then deletes itself afterward.

Step 3

Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as TrojanSpy.MSIL.MISPADU.C. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
