  DESCRIPTION

HP Data Protector is prone to a remote command-execution vulnerability because it fails to adequately sanitize user-supplied input. A remote attacker can leverage this issue to execute arbitrary commands in the context of the SYSTEM user. Failed exploit attempts will likely result in denial-of-service conditions.
