(MS10-100) Vulnerability in Consent User Interface Could Allow Elevation of Privilege (2442962)

  DESCRIPTION

This update resolves a vulnerability in the Consent User Interface (UI), which could allow elevation of privilege. An attacker with valid logon credentials and the SeImpersonatePrivilege could exploit the vulnerability by logging on locally and running a specially crafted application on the affected system. More specifically, this update addresses the vulnerability by correcting the manner by which the Consent UI processes values read from the registry.
