It does the following:
- It contains a text that lures the user to click and load the following possibly malicious website to a browser:
- https://J{BLOCKED}s.com/ipfs/bafkreif2klim7glbgcsrfe6lm7wfd2scwmhee5i6dglyggzgvjgl53zw2i/#bi1rYXdha2FtaUBqYmljLmdvLmpw
- It disables the use of context menu and viewing the page's source code.
- If the Developer Tools or Inspect element is opened via other means, it redirects the browser to the following website:
- https://www.microsoft.com
SOLUTION
Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as Trojan.Win32.PHISH.D. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
