This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Installation

This Trojan drops and executes the following files:

  • {Malware Path}\{Malware Name and extension}x - JS script detected as Worm.JS.DLOADR.AA

It adds the following processes:

  • WScript /e:JScript "{Malware Path}\{Malware Name and Extension}x"

Other Details

This Trojan does the following:

  • The document contains the following message details luring users to enable macro content:
  • The document hides the JS script in the document itself and not in the macro. It hides the script by using a font color that is the same as the background.
