This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.
Installation
This Trojan adds the following processes:
- "%System%\WScript.exe" "%Windows%\Temp\hcpqgojmrr.js"
- "%Program Files%\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\DW\DW20.EXE" -x -s 1200
- %Program Files%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\office12\OffDiag.exe /SOURCE 1 /LCID 1033 /WAITPID 2840

Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.

Identify and terminate files detected as Trojan.W97M.DLOADER.PVH
