It encrypts the files that the shortcuts in this folder points to: %appdata%\microsoft\windows\Recent
It does not delete the original file.
The encrypted file is name as: {original filename and extension}.lnk{count}.dec

Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
