- Nsavsvc.npc
- NSVMON.NPC
- nvc.npc
- nvcagent.npc
- pcotp.exe
- SkyMon.exe
- SystemMon.exe
Information Theft
This spyware steals sensitive information such as user names and passwords related to the following games:
- AION GameClient (AION.bin)
- Diablo III (Diablo III.exe)
- Dragon Knights (dkonline.exe)
- Dungeon & Fighter (dnf.exe)
- FIFA Online (ff2client.exe)
- Heroes of the Pacific (heroes.exe)
- MapleStory (MapleStory.exe)
- Ncsoft Lineage (lin.bin)
- Rohan Online Game (fairyclient.exe)
- The Exiled Realm of Arborea (TERA.exe, ExLauncher.exe)
- Tibia Player (OTP.exe)
- World of Warcraft (wow.exe)

NOTES:
It renames the file %System%\ws2help.dll to %System%\ws2helpxp.dll then drops its component file as %System%\ws2help.dll. The component file is also detected as TSPY_ONLINEG.NJL.
It terminates the process where it is running if the process name is one of the following:
- AYAgent.aye
- AYRTSrv.aye
- AYServiceNT.aye
- AYUpdSrv.aye
- InjectWinSockServiceV3.exe
- Nsavsvc.npc
- nsvmon.npc
- nvc.npc
- nvcagent.npc
- SgSvc.exe
- SkyMon.exe
- SystyemMon.exe
- V3Light.exe
- V3LSvc.exe
- V3LTray.exe
It also terminates the process where it is running if the current directory has the string alyac.
SOLUTION
Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Step 2
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product and note files detected as TSPY_ONLINEG.NJL
Step 3
Restart in Safe Mode
Step 4
Restart in normal mode and scan your computer with your Trend Micro product for files detected as TSPY_ONLINEG.NJL. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files. Step 5
Restoring a File to its Original Location
- Click Start>Run.
- In the text box, type the following:
command /c copy %System%\ws2helpxp.dll %System%\ws2help.dll - Press Enter.
