This is the Trend Micro detection for drivers, which hook certain Native API functions to hide files and processes.

It hooks the Native API functions ZwOpenProcess, ZwQueryDirectoryFile and ZwQuerySystemInformation to hide processes and files with a specific file name. The processes and file name to hide come from processes that use this driver.

It does not exploit any vulnerability.

Step 1

For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.

Step 2

Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product and note files detected as RTKT_DELF.JXZ

Step 3

Restart in Safe Mode

Search and delete the file detected as RTKT_DELF.JXZ
