Backdoor Routine
This backdoor connects to any of the following IRC server(s):
- irc.{BLOCKED}ka.co.vu:6667
It joins any of the following IRC channel(s):
- #berkah
- #neraka
It executes the following command(s) from a remote malicious user:
- DNS lookup
- Execute Shell Command
- Execute PHP Code
- Connect to remote sites
- Executes IRC Commands:
- join
- send message
- send private message
- notice
- nick
- set random nick
- quit
SOLUTION
Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as PHP_PBOT.SMM. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
