This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites. It executes when a user accesses certain websites where it is hosted.

It executes when a user accesses certain websites where it is hosted.

This Trojan connects to the following possibly malicious URL:
- http://{BLOCKED}Qovvr.ZPR/
- {BLOCKED}rIk.0s7.org
- {BLOCKED}ER.69vR4Y.org
It requires its main component to successfully perform its intended routine.
However, as of this writing, the said sites are inaccessible.
NOTES:
The HTML displays random phrases in random formatting, with random codes, buttons, text boxes.
SOLUTION
Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.

Close all opened browser windows
Step 3
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as HTML_PHISH.XTUD. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
