It executes the .DLL file, wintyes.dll, also detected as TROJ_TALERET.D, which is located in the %Temp% folder using RUNDLL32.EXE.

It does the following:

  • Executes the following .DLL file also detected as TROJ_TALERET.D, which is located in the %Temp% folder using RUNDLL32.EXE:
    • wintyes.dll

Step 1

For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.

Identify and terminate files detected as TROJ_TALERET.D
