Installation

This Ransomware adds the following folders:

  • C:\{User Name}\
  • C:\{User Name}\Rand123\

It drops the following copies of itself into the affected system:

  • C:\{User Name}\Rand123\local.exe

Other System Modifications

This Ransomware deletes the following files:

  • %Desktop%\READ_IT.txt.locked

It changes the desktop wallpaper by modifying the following registry entries:

It leaves text files that serve as ransom notes containing the following text:
