‘Tis the Season of Giving (Spam)
With Christmas just a day away, many users are taking the time out to send cards to their loved ones. Cybercriminals are well aware of this and they recently sent out a curious Christmas card to trick users.
The spammed message, purportedly from the Executive Office of the President of the United States, contains links that leads users to the download page for a malicious file. Users are advised to be wary of clicking links because as we have seen in the past, cybercriminals rarely take the holidays off.
