It may be hosted on a website and run when a user accesses the said website.

NOTES:

This is a .class component of a malicious Java archive file (.JAR), which attempts to download and execute possibly malicious file from a certain website. The URL where this malware downloads the said file depends on the parameter passed on to it by its components.

The JAR package may consists of the following class files:

  • armin.class
  • erandus.class
  • lindsa.class
  • opkat.class
  • oplef.class
  • rekona.class

As a a result, routines of the downloaded file may also be exhibited in the affected system.

Step 1

For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
