This is the Trend Micro detection for a PHP script that runs in a web server. It is capable of doing the following:
- Download a file
- Query a database
- Delete itself
- Display PHP version information
- Display PHP configuration
- Display CPU information
- Display memory information
- Execute PHP script from the remote client
- Brute force an FTP server
- Brute force a MySQL database server
- Dump the contents of a MySQL database

Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Step 2
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as PHP_RUMMAH.HG. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
