NOTES:
TROJ_EMBED.NDB is a .DOC file that has an executable file embedded. When opened, there is a text in opened .DOC file that says:
“Double click the zip folder above to view order”
The embedded file named order has a .ZIP file icon but it is actually executable. This tricks users into executing the malicious file.
The user can also save the embedded file by dragging it outside of the opened .DOC file.
The embedded file order is detected as TSPY_ZBOT.NBD.
It does not have rootkit capabilities.

Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 3
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as TROJ_EMBED.NDB. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files. Please check this Knowledge Base page for more information.
NOTES:
Close the opened .DOC file before scanning with Trend Micro product.
