I'm Fine Spam

 Analysis by: Mark Christian Aquino

We're seeing a spike in spammed emails targeting various companies that contains the short message, I’m fine thanks, followed by a random name. Some may consider this particular spam as 'low threat' as it does not contain any malicious files and/or links. However, users should be wary and avoid replying to such emails. It is possible that the attacker behind this spam attack could just be fishing for active email addresses in search for potential targets.

Trend Micro™ Smart Protection Network™ protects users from this threat by detecting the spam samples. Users are recommended to never open email messages from unknown sources.
