This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Other Details

This Trojan does the following:

  • It executes the following command:
    • powershell.exe -nop -w -hidden -encodedcommand {malicious encrypted code}
  • It executes arbitrary code via DNS message.

It performs DNS requests to the following sites:

  • aaa.{BLOCKED}e.3991775.en.{BLOCKED}4-ssl.com

However, as of this writing, the said sites are inaccessible.
