This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Installation

This Trojan drops the following copies of itself into the affected system:

  • {malware path and file name}.exe
  • %Windows%\Vxazaa.exe

(Note: %Windows% is the Windows folder, which is usually C:\Windows or C:\WINNT.)

Other System Modifications

This Trojan deletes the following files:

  • %Windows%\Tasks\{35DC3473-A719-4d14-B7C1-FD326CA84A0C}.job

It adds the following registry keys:
