This Backdoor arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Installation

This Backdoor drops the following files:

  • qrat.exe - detected as BKDR_XRAT.KVM

It drops and executes the following files:

  • Z24UY3F0IYDULRD.sct - executes qrat.exe

Step 1
