This malware is downloaded by OSX_WIRELURK.A.

It monitors iOS devices connected via USB to an infected computer running OS X. It installs downloaded third-party applications or automatically generated malicious applications onto the device, regardless of whether it is jailbroken.

It is capable of stealing a variety of information from the mobile devices it infects and regularly requests updates from the attackers command and control server. Some of its routines include:

  • Connect to its server for self-update
  • Monitor user's messages
  • Upload AddressBook and iMessage IDs
  • Upload application usage and device serial number
