The file DECJ.BAT contains and initializes the following routines:

  • Opens decoy file
  • Terminates mdej.exe
  • Decrypt unzip.exe and bar.zip
  • Unzip bar.zip
  • Execute saj.vbs

The following are the contents of the file BAR.ZIP:

Step 1

Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.

Step 2

Remove malware/grayware files dropped/downloaded by TSPY_PASSTEAL.TY. (Note: Please skip this step if the threats listed below have already been removed.)

    • HKTL_SXPASSDUMP

Restart in Safe Mode
