Backdoor Routine
This backdoor connects to the following URL(s) to send and receive commands from a remote malicious user:
- http://{BLOCKED}l.{BLOCKED}fy.com/8jwpc/odw3ux
NOTES:
It also tries to download a possibly malicious file from the following web site:
- http://{BLOCKED}l.{BLOCKED}fy.com/oi2c/wlc3/{Host Name}:{MAC Address}/ij83d
However, the said site is inaccessible.
SOLUTION
Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Step 2
Remove malware files dropped/downloaded by BKDR_DATCAEN.A
- TROJ_DATCAEN.A

Restart in Safe Mode
Step 4
Delete this registry key
