This Trojan does the following:
- It adds the following local group accounts with Administrator privileges:

- Remote Desktop Users
- It enables the firewall rule that allows RDP connections.
- It sends the MAC address of the victim via UDP to the broadcast IP.
- It modifies the Administrator user passsword.
- It modifies the Windows Defender settings to disable malware scanning and detection.
- It disables the following AV-related services:

- WinDefend
- Sense
- WdnisDrv
- wdfilter
- wdboot
- It deletes the ComputerRestorePoint to prevent system recovery.
- It attempts to uninstall the following AV programs:
- Bitdefender
- TrendMicro
- Kaspersky
- It enables PowerShell remoting.
- It enables WinRm execution.
- It checks if a specific IP in its network has a running WinDefend service.
- It modifies the machine's lock screen title into the following strings:
- Welcome
- Welcome aboard
- It deletes all files in %User Temp%.
- It modifies the listening RDP port to 4000 and sets a Firewall rule to allow inbound connections.
- It modifies the Windows Defender settings to disable scanning of files and processes in all drives.

Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Identify and terminate files detected as Trojan.PS1.SILENTKILL.THHOIBC
- Windows Task Manager may not display all running processes. In this case, please use a third-party process viewer, preferably Process Explorer, to terminate the malware/grayware/spyware file. You may download the said tool here.
