Rated 2 out of 5 by Notlob from Trend Micro Maximum Security I bought this product a couple weeks ago and found it very difficult to update. I am still not sure, and can't seem to find verification, if the product is updated on some of my devices. No where can I see if updates have been done on a daily basis. In previous years this seemed to be a simpler process. Whatever Trend Micro has done to supposedly make improvements seems to be a step backwards in the renewal process so at the moment I would not recommend it to anyone even though I am assuming that the protection is fine IF the update occurred.

Rated 1 out of 5 by garym from Be Very Careful With "Special Offers" First, I like the product (Maximum Security) and have used it for 10 years or more. THE sole problem is that Trend Micro sends me a renewal offer via email that omits important details. I connect to the offer link and complete the information required, specifically NOT checking the auto renew box. I add payment information, etc, and go to "check out" when I realize there is small text in a gray box that states by confirming the purchase that you also agree to auto renew. That requirement is NOT stated in the email (why?) and NOT stated (why?) when you first connect to the offer link.

I've turned it on or "don't show this again". no matter what I do, it still come up. Other than that, Security on my other devices is performing as expected.
