Did some research and talked to a couple of computer "Nerds". I'm now entering the second year with Trend Micro and not one issue to date. Nothing is perfect in this world but I'm very pleased to have a little piece of mind regarding PC security.

So I switched to TM for both of my laptops last month. I was experiencing weird issues with one laptop, and TM customer support was very responsive and made sure the problem was resolved. I'm quite happy with the TM's security features and its customer support.

Also during updates it slow computer way down and make even hang up your system and you have to reboot. Also about 2 months before it expires it daily reminds you to purchase it.

It utterly fails to prevent the almost constant barrage of smut and pornography with which my site is assailed. I should not have to pay for another program on top of trend micro. I guess it is a case of "live and learn."

A slow process with a lot of expensive pitfalls. I've always been slow to incorporate new terminology so having to continually review is still tedious. Luckily I've got time.

It does not identify/block email spam and junk very well. The highlighted taglines in internet searches are annoying. Instead of just having a green check it highlights the whole tagline. Hopefully it works for blocking my private information worms and virus'.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sir Pappy from Unscrupulous Foreign Contractors Upon calling Trend Micro, to correct a billing error. I was contacted the following day by the same representative asking "if I remembered him" He proceeded to tell me my security was not working properly and that I needed to have a driver updated. This was a scam to remotely access my computer. Others have reported the same kind of incident since August of 2019. Trend Micro needs to flush these individuals from their system , post a warning on their web site and take immediate legal action against these scammers!!

I have tried many and this is the best, simplest and most secured, and no it does not cost arm/leg.

The dashboard is easy to use and there are a number of nice features like parental controls and extra protection for online transactions. The support team was very helpful when I had an issue moving to a new PC. Bottom line, I have been quite satisfied with this product.

Instructions said can install on device I already had last version on and it would replace it. It didn't do it. It won't do it. I'm too busy to waste more time than I already have. I keep getting notices to install it on the other device.
