This Trojan adds the following mutexes to ensure that only one of its copies runs at any one time:

This malware attempts to connect to the following URL to download and execute another file:

If download is successful, it signals the remote server by sending the following:
- http://{BLOCKED}t.com/3/1.php?q={number}&ok={number}
Currently, the malware was able to download from:
- http://{BLOCKED}t.com/3/1.php?q=1
It is detected by Trend Micro as TROJ_FAKEAV.IB.
The downloaded file is then executed, thus the malicious routines of the said malware are also exhibited in the system.

Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.

Remove malware files dropped/downloaded by TROJ_STEGBOV.A

Step 3
Delete this registry value
