Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education – Taiwan

Trend Micro works toward a better future for underprivileged children in Taiwan by teaching subjects ranging from scratch programming to robotics and helping teachers develop STEM curricula for their students. Throughout the years, we’ve conducted more than 15 STEM camps. In 2021, we donated more than 400 end-user devices for e-learning as Taiwan is mitigating the learning disruptions brought on by COVID-19.

During the pandemic, with the demand for connected devices surging, we launched a Give & Match initiative, donating more than 400 PCs, laptops, and tablets to over 20 schools and non-profit organizations for their online learning.

Since 2011, we’ve expanded our reach to serve areas affected by the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake and flooding in western Japan.

Concurrently, we work alongside local children’s homes to provide educational and recreational activities.
