Trend Micro To Deploy Trend Vision One™ on AWS European Sovereign Cloud

New collaboration combines Trend Micro’s cybersecurity expertise with AWS European Sovereign Cloud infrastructure, delivering proactive security to customers in highly regulated industries

Garching b. München, January 15, 2026 – Trend Micro Incorporated, a global cybersecurity leader, today announced plans to make its flagship cybersecurity platform Trend Vision One™ available on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, a new independent cloud for Europe.

This deployment builds on the companies’ longstanding partnership and Trend Micro’s leadership in cybersecurity. The Trend Vision One™ cybersecurity platform will be available on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, further supporting its growing European customer base. Trend Vision One™ on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud addresses the unique security needs of government entities, defense organizations, critical infrastructure providers, and highly regulated industries to meet digital sovereignty needs to support customer’s requirements while maintaining the full capabilities of Trend’s AI-powered enterprise cybersecurity platform.

The AWS European Sovereign Cloud is a fully featured, independently operated sovereign cloud backed by strong technical controls, sovereign assurances, and legal protections designed to meet the needs of European governments and enterprises. The AWS European Sovereign Cloud infrastructure is entirely located within the EU and operates independently from existing Regions. Customers using the AWS European Sovereign Cloud will benefit from the full power of AWS including the same service portfolio, security, availability, performance, familiar architecture, APIs, and innovations such as the AWS Nitro System.

Deploying Trend Vision One™ on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud maintains the platform's full capacity of unified cyber risk exposure management, security operations, and layered protection while accommodating stringent sovereignty and compliance regulations. The deployment supports its entire range of cybersecurity capabilities including extended detection and response (XDR), agentic security orchestration, automation and response (Agentic SOAR), and threat intelligence correlation.

“In today’s digital landscape, cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated,

necessitating the need of global organizations for comprehensive cybersecurity coverage. However, many organizations – particularly those in highly regulated sectors – grapple with business pressures and strict sovereignty requirements,” said Marc Schiener, Technical Director Europe at Trend Micro. “By deploying Trend Vision One™ on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, customers gain access to our AI-driven, proactive cybersecurity capabilities while meeting their digital sovereignty needs, benefitting from our long-standing partnership with Amazon Web Services.”

AWS and Trend have been partnering for over a decade. At AWS re:Invent 2025, Trend was recognized as the 2025 AWS German Technology Partner of the Year for the second year in a row. This new collaboration builds on that shared history of innovation to support customers’ digital sovereignty and cybersecurity requirements and accelerate their digital transformation in Europe.
