Trend Micro Security Extended to Microsoft Edge Browser in Market First

AUCKLAND, November 22, 2018 – Trend Micro, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, today announced Trend Micro Security for Microsoft Edge. This world first app provides consumers with an additional layer of security for Windows 10 in S mode devices sold across Australia and New Zealand by extending the protection of Trend Micro’s flagship multi-device consumer security solution, Trend Micro Maximum Security.

Kiwis have lost over $26 million to online scams and fraud in so far this year, and cybercriminals see the Internet as an attractive access point to contact, trick and prey on unsuspecting consumers. Trend Micro Security makes browsing safer and more enjoyable on operating systems such as Windows 10 and is the world’s first Windows 10 in S Mode security solution sold through retail, reinforcing Trend Micro’s leadership and commitment to providing the most comprehensive protection across every aspect of consumers’ digital lives.

• Password Manager:
  The easy to use password manager capability in Trend Micro Security removes the complexity of having to remember multiple passwords and helps consumers create, manage and securely store strong passwords and sync them across multiple devices (PCs, Macs, mobile devices) for instant access whenever they need them most.
• Ad-Blocking:
  Trend Micro Security also blocks annoying, intrusive ads for faster site loading and a better web browsing experience.
