Back, Neck or spine surgery victims unite.


This spammed message pretends to be a regular newsletter, falsely informing recipients that the Medtronic Bone Graft Device has been linked to several injuries. It then says that the recipients might be eligible for compensation; they only need to click on a link to check if they qualify. The link directs the recipients to a phishing site, which asks for their personal information.

Users should be wary of clicking links in messages, especially from unknown sources. They should also be wary of divulging personal information online. To verify news, users should rely on reputable sources, such as the website of the company involved.
