iPad Lures Users to Give Data

The iPad is one of the most popular gadgets today.  A recent spam sample was spotted bearing the subject “iPad testers wanted” with the email body that gives a link to a certain site that redirect users to a remote phishing site.

The phishing site hosts a form where the user is asked to give out some of his/her personal information such as the user’s full name, email address, city, state, country, and postal code. By supplying the said information, the user supposedly registers to test the iPad. However, whenever any kind of data is entered, the website does not verify whether the data exists or not.
