This Trojan may be dropped by TROJ_GORIADU.DRP.

This malicious .DLL file decrypts the encrypted file {Varies}.XML located in the %Program Files%\baidu folder, which is included in the malware package. The decrypted data is an executable data which will then be written to a file named setup.exe, detected as TROJ_GORIADU.DRP.

Autostart Technique

This Trojan registers itself as a system service to ensure its automatic execution at every system startup by adding the following registry entries:

This Trojan does the following:

  • This malicious .DLL file decrypts the encrypted file {Varies}.XML located in the %Program Files%\baidu folder, which is included in the malware package. The decrypted data is an executable data which will then be written to a file named setup.exe, detected as TROJ_GORIADU.DRP.
