This Trojan arrives as an attachment to email messages spammed by other malware/grayware or malicious users.
NOTES:
Upon opening the document, the user is presented with the following link that tells the user to update the Outlook Web Access account:
- https://{BLOCKED}ursn-npamd.c9users.io/FJKDIEURDH/VALIDATE/
- https://jmgwdd-jsgsi.{BLOCKED}s.io/TNTDDGB/365.HTML
The said site contains a login form which requires the user to enter an username/email and password which may then lead to stolen information.
As of this writing, however, the said site is already inaccessible.

Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as PDF_MALPHISH.GQA. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
