When security can’t keep up with scale
Due to its expansive IT infrastructure of more than 3,000 endpoints and 50 servers distributed across numerous project sites, Dilip Buildcon needed a robust and scalable security solution to safeguard its diverse environment. The company’s existing setup needed to be strengthened across several key areas.

After a thorough evaluation of multiple vendors, Dilip Buildcon ultimately chose TrendAI™ for its comprehensive solution portfolio, advanced technology, and strong customer support. Chief Information Officer Satyanarayana Kasturi explains their decision-making process: “We conducted a proof of concept for TrendAI™ Apex One onpremises with some trial users and found it to be highly effective. This positive experience led us to gradually expand our deployment to cover all 3,500-plus endpoints.”

A seamless path to stronger security
Dilip Buildcon implemented a phased approach to deploying TrendAI™ solutions. The process began with the initial deployment of Apex One on-premises for endpoints. Building on this success, the organisation upgraded to TrendAI Vision One™ with XDR capabilities in 2024, significantly enhancing threat detection and response capabilities across the entire IT environment. Dilip Buildcon also deployed TrendAI™ Deep Security™ across 10 critical servers to ensure comprehensive protection of their vital infrastructure components.

Since implementing TrendAI™ solutions, Dilip Buildcon has achieved comprehensive protection for its IT environment spread across their diverse project sites. One of the most notable improvements has been in visibility and reporting, thanks to the XDR capabilities of TrendAI Vision One™. Streamlining security operations has allowed for more efficient monitoring and management. The integration of various security functions has dramatically reduced the time and effort required for security management. “Earlier, we used to spend a lot of time on telemetry,” says Sharma. “Now we get all reports in one place, have set up alerts, and can generate daily reports effortlessly.”
The comprehensive reporting capabilities have also greatly helped compliance management, as their IT team can now easily generate and present detailed reports at board meetings. This has elevated the importance of cybersecurity within the organisation and ensured that it remains a top priority. “I strongly feel that we are risk-free. We are in safe hands after implementing TrendAI Vision One™,” says Kasturi.
CUSTOMER SERVICE AS A DIFFERENTIATOR
Looking ahead, Dilip Buildcon is actively exploring further enhancements to their security infrastructure. The company is currently evaluating TrendAI Vision One™ Zero Trust Secure Access (ZTSA) to centralise digital security management with integrated policies, risk response, and visibility. In parallel, it is considering implementing of TrendAI™ Cloud App Security to strengthen email security.
Dilip Buildcon is also focusing on the continued development of a security operations centre (SOC), underscoring the company’s dedication to building internal capabilities for real-time threat monitoring and response. “Our partnership with TrendAI™ has significantly elevated our security posture,” adds Kuleep. “As we continue to grow and face new challenges, we’re confident that TrendAI™ will provide the solutions and support we need to stay secure.”
