Download Routine
This Trojan connects to the following website(s) to download and execute a malicious file:
- http://{5 random characters}.{BLOCKED}x.com/get_frst.php?uid={uid}
- http://{BLOCKED}ort.waverevenue.com/rp.txt?ver=93&uid={uid}&iam={user}&st={status}
It saves the files it downloads using the following names:
- %User Temp%\stf{number}.tmp
- %User Temp%\v{number}.tmp
(Note: %User Temp% is the current user's Temp folder, which is usually C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Local Settings\Temp on Windows 2000, XP, and Server 2003.)
Other Details
Based on analysis of the codes, it has the following capabilities:
- Sends information such as CPU information,System locale information,System BIOS information,and Video BIOS information http://{5 random characters}.{BLOCKED}x.com during its attempt at establishing communication.

Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Step 2
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as TROJ_DLOADER.VDJ. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
