Installation
This Trojan adds the following processes:
- reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Svchost" /v "EntAppsvc" /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d "EntAppsvc" /f
- sc create "EntAppsvc" binPath= "C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe -k EntAppsvc" type= share start= auto error= ignore DisplayName= "EntAppsvc"
- sc description "EntAppsvc" ""
- reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EntAppsvc\Parameters" /f
- reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EntAppsvc\Parameters" /v "ServiceDll" /t REG_EXPAND_SZ /d "%System%\EntAppsvc.dll" /f
- net start "EntAppsvc"

This Trojan registers its dropped component as a system service to ensure its automatic execution at every system startup. It does this by creating the following registry entries:

It registers its dropped component as a system service to ensure its automatic execution at every system startup. It does this by creating the following registry keys:

It starts the following services:

- It moves the following to %System% directory:
- EntAppsvc.dll → detected as TrojanSpy.Win64.DIRECTKEYLOGGER.A

Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
