Take Control at CLOUDSEC Hong Kong 2016

Meet FBI Special Agent at the annual security conference to discuss the rise of stealthy, unforeseen and destructive cyberattacks

HONG KONG, July 20, 2016 CLOUDSEC, the leading internet security conferences in Asia Pacific and Europe, will be back to Hong Kong in August with the theme “Take Control”.

Hosted by Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE:4704), CLOUDSEC Hong Kong 2016 invites users to discover that the right defense strategy starts within. Trend Micro senior executives and other global security experts will share their perspectives and insights in guiding businesses to TAKE CONROL in safeguarding their systems and processes, as well as in empowering their people.

At CLOUDSEC Hong Kong 2016, attendees will join Timothy Mallach, Supervisory Special Agent of FBI in the discussion around today’s security landscape which requires a different mindset from yesteryear. With cyberattacks increasing in frequency and intensity, organizations need to accept that they will not be able to keep threats out forever. Addressing the inevitability of being breached, the conference will look at the shifts in mindset that organizations must take and how companies must rethink their IT organizational strategy, as well as finding the right person to plan that strategy. CLOUDSEC Hong Kong 2016 also features a panel discussion where we zero in on real-world factors that pose security challenges to enterprises, what contributes to the success of a cybersecurity strategy, and what is the cost of good security for organizations versus a poor one.

Key Speakers:

Mr Timothy Mallach, Supervisory Special Agent of FBI
Mr Charles Mok, Legistrative Councillor (IT), HKSAR
Mr Frankie Leung, Program Director, Professional Information Security Association
