Fake Messages from UNI-Trade Found

 Analysis by: Dhan Praga

A new wave of spam samples was spotted, pretending to be a message from UNI-Trade Ltd., one of the largest trading companies in Ukraine. The message itself is short with no links or file attachments. It only contains the company's contact details that range from Skype user names to telephone, fax, and mobile numbers. This particular spam may be aimed to trick startup business owners into dealing with a fictitious entity posing as a department of a legitimate company. Using the contact details listed in the message may put the user at risk of being tricked by cybercriminals.

Users are advised to remain vigilant against these scams.
