The cyberthreat landscape in North Africa is rapidly evolving, with increasingly sophisticated threats posing a significant challenge for the regional organizations. According to Trend Micro's Annual Cybersecurity Roundup 2022 – Rethinking Tactics, the company detected and blocked a staggering 181 million threats in key markets like Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria last year. Of these, 153 million were email threats, 75K were URL hosted attacks, 6 million were malware attacks, and 2.3 million were URL victim attacks.
