This Trojan drops the following files:

  • %Current%\uuse-{number}.exe - detected as TROJ_GORIADU.SMZ
  • %Program Files%\baidu\msfsg.exe - detected as TROJ_GORIADU.SMX
  • %Program Files%\baidu\temp{number}.ini - configuration file
  • %Program Files%\baidu\dsop7.xml - encrypted executable file
  • %Program Files%\baidu\s0001.xml - encrypted executable file
  • %Program Files%\baidu\un{number}.exe - fake uninstaller (deletes only itself after execution)

(Note: %Program Files% is the default Program Files folder, usually C:\Program Files.)

It creates the following folders:

Step 1

For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.

Step 2

Remove malware files dropped/downloaded by TROJ_FKEPLAYR.CH

    • TROJ_GORIADU.SMX
    • TROJ_GORIADU.SMZ

Search and delete this folder
