The Cyber Senate 6th Annual Industrial Control Cybersecurity USA conference

Industrial facilities have been increasingly reliant on the industrial internet of things (IIoT), using devices to create more productive and efficient systems. As a result, however, the IIoT attack surface has also increased, particularly across critical infrastructures.

The Cyber Senate 6th Annual Industrial Control Cybersecurity USA conference will be held in Celebration Florida on Sept. 24 and 25, 2019. This two-day conference is free for organizations that own and operate industrial control systems (ICSs) and will include extensive high-level presentations and panel sessions.

The conference will highlight key insights from the Cyber Senate portfolio of vertical conferences from throughout 2016, 2017, and 2018. This year’s event will be dominated by the best global cybersecurity subject matter experts in the ICS domain, including executive leadership from utilities, water, oil and gas, aviation, rail, chemical, nuclear, and maritime industries.

Trend Micro’s Senior Vice President of Commercial IoT Security Business and Market Development, Richard Ku, and Senior Threat Researcher Stephen Hilt will give a talk that will cover the following topics:

  • • Keynote Panel: The Current State of ICS Maturity and Awareness
  • • Panel: The Evolution of IT/OT Convergence
  • • Past, Present, and Future of ICS Attacks
