Are you “Trend Ready” to Protect Data in the Cloud?
A first-of-its-kind testing program known as “Trend Ready for Cloud Service Providers,” verifies the compatibility of cloud service providers with our industry-leading cloud security solutions. What does this mean and why does it matter?
One year ago, we established a first-of-its-kind testing program known as “Trend Ready for Cloud Service Providers,” which verifies the compatibility of cloud service providers with our industry-leading cloud security solutions.
Already, the program is being used by 20 of the leading global service providers who share our vision for our customers – security assurance in a complex environment.
This program was designed to boost enterprise adoption of public cloud services worldwide by helping to remove any lingering security concerns.
We know that navigating the cloud is challenging for many businesses. Our partner-providers are sensitive to these challenges and are committed to seamless security solutions for the cloud.
Trend Micro gives this challenge a solution with the “Trend Ready” status – a “stamp of approval” that identifies our security software solutions will work with participating service providers.
What does it mean to be “Trend Ready?”
Service providers that display the “Trend Ready” logo have interoperability with our comprehensive Cloud and Data Center Security Solution, which includes Deep Security’s anti-malware, Web reputation and firewall capabilities (to name a few), as well as SecureCloud’s encryption for protecting sensitive data in public cloud and virtualized environments.
Who uses “Trend Ready?”
Amazon Web Services, Oi, Dell and HP Cloud Services have been certified. For the complete list, click here.
Why does it matter?
Most cloud security providers have a “shared responsibility model” for their customers. In this model, they provide secure foundations from the physical environment up to the virtualization layer. However, this typically means it is the customer’s responsibility to secure the operating system and its applications.
Leading public cloud service providers are able to prove to their potential customers that their infrastructures are compatible with Trend Micro security products. In doing so they will be able to help enterprises overcome their cloud computing concerns and confidently complete their journey to the public cloud.
We are proud of the way Trend Ready has already helped companies easily secure data in the cloud, and are eager to see how it grows.
