Best practice rules for AWS Resource Groups
Resource Groups allow you to combine information about multiple resources, such as metrics, alarms, and configuration details, on a single screen. A resource group is a collection of resources that share one or more tags or portions of tags. To create a resource group, you simply identify the tags that contain the items that members of the group should have in common. This is particularly useful for organisations that use multiple resources in multiple regions. Rather than having to jump between different dashboards / regions with the AWS Management Console, resource groups allow you to group related resource and view the information on one screen.
