  DESCRIPTION

This security update addresses a vulnerability in the way Windows Shell handles file associations. An attacker may only be able to successfully exploit this vulnerability if the attacker is able to log on to the vulnerable system. When a vulnerable computer is successfully exploited, an attacker can change privileges on the vulnerable computer.
