  • WORM_OTORUN.ASH
  • WORM_OTORUN.KR

NOTES:

This Trojan is a shortcut file (.LNK) that is used as an autostart component of the main malware.

It is usually dropped together with the main malware's copy. Once executed, it executes the main malware. Thus, malicious routines of the main malware are exhibited on the affected system.

Step 1

For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.

Remove malware/grayware files that dropped/downloaded LNK_OTORUN.SM
